Blue Christmas: A Wide Space

Sometimes the hustle and bustle, laughter, and jubilation of Christmas don't match what we're feeling. Maybe someone we love has died and we're grieving. Maybe the dark and cold are impacting our spirit. Maybe family dynamics strain our seasonal rhythms. Whatever respite you're craving this season, come to Blue Christmas.

Wednesday, December 20, on the night before the Winter Solstice, we'll gather in the sanctuary by candlelight from 6:30-7:15 pm. The service will provide space to pause, acknowledge a loss or feeling, and experience the reality that even in our loneliness we are not alone. We'll light candles, pray together, engage in silence, and sing reflective Taize and other songs. Come experience this contemplative Christmas worship opportunity.

Led by Pastor Hayden, Chris Roberts (Worship and Arts Director), and Julie Stevens (Director of the Looking Within Center)
