Taize Evening Prayer and Dessert

Summer Dates and Themes:

June 1: Light and Darkness

July 6: Nature and Creation

August 3: Our Shared Humanity

Root Beer Floats available in the Gloria Dei Courtyard (or Garden Lounge if it rains) beginning at 5:45 pm
Worship from 6:30-7pm

Why not enjoy dessert and then flow right into Taizé Evening Prayer in the Looking Within Center on the first Wednesday evening of each summer month?

June 1 will feature Root Beer Floats, followed by worship that will focus on a way we experience God's presence in all of creation.

Taizé worship might be called “meditative worship”: worship that intentionally includes the elements of brief moments of silence, short/repeated prayer songs, and other aspects of worship that you'll find very familiar. We'll have a chance to give thanks, and make known to God our personal and collective hurts and hopes. We'll enjoy the summer weather, and bask in the light of God's love. These services will be led by Pastor Hayden, led musically by Chris Roberts and others, and hosted by Julie Stevens, Looking Within Center Director. We hope you can join us for some wonderful community and for this unique worship opportunity!
